3. Responsibilities

3.2 Unit Owners/Residents
Unit owners/residents are responsible for pest control within their units.

Unit owners/residents must report any signs of pest infestation within their unit to the Condominium Corporation immediately.
Unit owners/residents must cooperate with the Condominium Corporation and pest control professionals in addressing any pest infestations.
4. Pest Control Procedures
4.1 Common Areas
The Condominium Corporation will establish a schedule for regular pest inspections and treatments in common areas.
The Corporation will notify residents in advance of any scheduled pest control treatments in common areas.
Residents may be required to vacate their units during certain pest control treatments in common areas.
4.2 Units
If a pest infestation is reported within a unit, the Condominium Corporation will investigate the issue and determine the appropriate course of action.
The Corporation may require the unit owner/resident to hire a licensed pest control company to treat the infestation.
The cost of pest control within a unit is the responsibility of the unit owner/resident.
5. Prevention
The Condominium Corporation and unit owners/residents will work together to prevent pest infestations through the following measures:
Regular cleaning and maintenance of common areas and units.
Proper storage of food and garbage.
Sealing cracks and gaps in walls and floors.
Prompt reporting of any signs of pest activity.
6. Enforcement
Failure to comply with this policy may result in the following:
A fine imposed by the Condominium Corporation.
Legal action taken by the Condominium Corporation.
7. Review
This policy will be reviewed annually by the Condominium Corporation Board of Directors and updated as needed.
